NothingSpecial: gender-bending transformation stories, comics, and occasional poetry =^_^=

Stories

I've been writing for – *counts off* – over twenty years now. This is not a comprehensive collection of everything I've written in that time; my earliest efforts are as cringe-worthy as anyone's, even if I like some of the ideas, and a lot of things I've written are too fragmentary to include here, or too intertwined with other people's work that I don't have permission to reproduce. Some of the better things in the latter category I've linked under "Stories Elsewhere" – others that are purely my work are under "Misc. Fragments." Also featured here are my first novel and my work-in-progress second novel =^_^=

Novels

"A Probability Experiment Turned Me Into A Clockwork Girl And I Really Don't Know What To Make Of It All"
My first novel, a slice-of-life mad-science gender-bender dramedy about turning into a clockwork automaton and self-discovery.

"Nyandemic Story"
My second novel (currently a work-in-progress and on hiatus,) about life during and after a global catgirlification pandemic.

Misc. Fragments

"Jon the Entirely Normal Girl"
A very accurately-titled branch of the "You Are What You Wish" story on Fiction Branches, in which our protagonist wakes up as a girl after making an ill-considered wish and nothing gets any weirder than that. Currently incomplete, would like to get back to it at some point.

"Beside Myself"
The first couple chapters of a novella, originally intended as a Halloween short story but never continued. I may get back to this someday, but for now I'll leave it here.

Stories Elsewhere

"Iridescent Sun"
A long-form round-robin story written from 2010–2013 with a handful of other authors on Fiction Branches. My first complete long-form work; while there's a lot that could've been tightened up had we ever subjected ourselves to an editing pass, I'm still pretty proud of this one.

"Arcade Anomaly"
Another long-form collaborative effort on FB, on the help-I'm-trapped-in-a-fantasy-RPG model, never completed.

"Adaptive Adoption"
Scott's new stepmother is an alien – which is all very well, but there's some nuances to the cultural family-bonding ritual that he didn't quite pick up on. A less-extensive incomplete piece, but I like the premise.

"D.I.Y. Dullahan"
Never let your cousin cut your head off, kids. Trust me, this is the absolute best-case scenario.
