Yaknow, it's one thing to be hard up for work, have to take a job in the city's "beast quarter," start commuting there on the regular, find out that there's just something about the place that can have…influences…on people who spend a lot of time there, and have to balance adjusting to a whole new identity with earning a living like a Responsible Adult – but some things are just a bridge too dang far.
