"Probability Experiment" sketches, #13

While working on illustrations for the e-book version of "Probability Experiment," I did a concept sketch of Charlie and George, childhood friends who signed on as Navy seamen and proceeded to have very divergent experiences in WWII. Charlie's been through a lot, needless to say; it's a good thing she has her pal there to support her :)

(I was shooting for Jennifer Connelly in The Rocketeer here, but she kinda went and morphed into Ariel while I was drawing her. Someone at Disney in the '80s must've really liked that retro-'40s throwback look.)
